Shed 'needing repair' for sale at £150,000

A 'dilapidated' shed sandwiched between two large houses in an upmarket seaside resort in north Wales is up for sale with a price tag of £150,000.

The wooden structure which measures just 18ft by 15ft (5.49m by 4.57m) in Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula, has already had three offers.

Agents say the owner is "in no rush to sell" and they would not be surprised if the shed fetches £175,000.

The single-storey shed does have electricity and water supplies connected but would need planning permission granted before anyone could use it as a home or build a new property on the plot.

Estate agents Beresford Adams, who are selling the building, say in their brochure and on their website that it is in a "dilapidated state of repair."

A spokesperson for the estate agents added that anyone wanting to redevelop the shed and the entire plot, which measures 35ft by 18ft 6in (10.87m by 5.64m), would have to make their own enquiries with the local planning authority - Gwynedd Council - if they wished to convert it. But they claim that it is "an interesting opportunity".
