A Pennsylvania man said he had no choice but to fight after a deer crashed into a Quakertown, Pennsylvania, hair salon on Tuesday.
Police said a white-tailed buck with 4-6 inch antlers ran into Holiday Hair in the Quakertown Plaza and began flailing and kicking into the air.
Randy Goepfert, who was in the salon with his 11-year-old son, said he had to put the animal in a headlock in order to keep it away from his son and others inside the business.
The deer broke free and ran break room where it was held until a game warden arrived.
Officials said the deer suffered a broken jaw and cuts to its neck and had to be euthanized.
Goepfert suffered a back injury after being kicked by the deer.
