Dr. Fredric J. Baur got his wish after he died. Baur was the man who invented the design for the Pringles potato chip can.
And after he passed away last month his family honoured his last wishes, and placed some of his remains inside a Pringles can. That can was then placed inside a traditional urn, both now resting in the Arlington Memorial Gardens in Springfield Township, Ohio.
Dr. Baur developed many products for P&G, including frying oils and a freeze-dried ice cream. In 1970 he received a patent for the Pringles can package, as well as the method of packaging Pringles.
The Ohio native was 89-years-old when he died on May 4.
