Condom carriers can queue jump at Liverpool clubs

Condom-carrying clubbers in Liverpool have been given the chance to queue-jump in a bid to promote safe sex across the city.

If they flash their contraceptive at a club's door staff they will be allowed to go to the front of the queue.

Seven venues are taking part in the scheme, which has the backing of NHS Liverpool Community Health and sexual health charity Brook.

It is running on certain dates during the first two weeks of March. The queue-jumping initiative, dubbed "Rubbers for Clubbers", is taking place at Garlands, Cube Club, Bumper, Reflex, Camel Club and Mood.
