Male robbers wear dresses in jewellery raid

Three male robbers wearing dresses and African tribal wear are being sought by Devon and Cornwall Police.

The men entered Newquay's Cornish Stone Company jewellery shop at about 1600 BST on Friday on Bank Street. Rings valued at about £500 were taken from the shop. The men escaped down The Crescent towards Newquay Hospital.

All three men are described as black, in their 20s and about 5ft 6in (1.65m) tall. Two of the men were wearing dresses.

One of the men wore a dark blue dress with a dark blue T-shirt underneath and another wore a black dress with a pink floral pattern on it and a grey and red striped T-shirt underneath. A third man wore a light grey jogging suit.
