Nursing home has pet pig

A pint-sized porker is raising spirits at an Ohio nursing home.

Roger is a five-month-old "teacup" pig that currently resides at the Sharon Brooke Senior Assisted Residence in Newark.

The tiny litter-box trained pig has already had a dramatic effect on the home's residents.

"A lot of residents that normally never came out of their rooms actually come out now they make sure they see Roger every day," says executive director Amy Twyman.

This is so cute! Roger is an animal that caught the heart of the elders on the senior homes. This will surely reduce boredom and will them something to look forward to each day! Roger is a life saver. Such an inspiration.
