Woman who made up carjacking to cover-up car sex also made up car-sex to cover up theft

A woman in New Jersey who invented a carjacking to hide the fact that she had been having sex in her car also invented the fact that she had been having sex in her car, police say. This is is where it gets complicated.

According to New Jersey authorities, the woman originally lied about the cause of the crash that saw her car smash into a tree, saying that she had been flagged down by a man who then pulled a gun on her.

When this was revealed to by a lie, she admitted that she'd actually picked up a man on the road, and had been 'engaged in a sex act' with him while he was driving when the accident happened.

This also turned out to be a lie, police say.

What actually happened, according to authorities, is that the woman - identified as 23-year-old Sarah Blasse of Vineland, NJ - and her boyfriend had stolen a laptop from another car, and were fleeing police when they crashed into the tree.

They then set the car on fire in an attempt to cover up what had happened. Blasse and her boyfriend, identified as 27-year-old Henry Goode Jr, now face charges including arson, burglary and hindering apprehension.
