Girl made to abseil 50ft to retrieve woman's headscarf

A woman lowers a child from a fifth floor balcony with a rope - to retrieve her fallen headscarf.

A witness filmed the shocking stunt as the girl, thought to be six, dangled in mid-air. The woman lowered the youngster 50ft to collect her scarf from the ground, then hauled her back up again.



One witness outside the block of flats said: "Rather than go down the stairs herself, the woman helped the girl abseil down. It looked incredibly dangerous."

The footage was shot by a diner at a nearby cafe in Yozgat, Turkey.
