Rats infesting Downing Street

Under assault from disgruntled members of his own party, opposition MPs, union leaders and angry students, David Cameron must be glad to retreat to the safety of his gated residence at 10 Downing St.

However, even there, it has emerged, the Prime Minister is besieged by a pernicious enemy,

The evidence emerged in a BBC news broadcast which uncovered a potential rodent infestation in the seat of power.

As political correspondent Gary O’Donoghue ran through the day's events, a rat could be clearly seen crossing the doorstep of Number 10.

That's just a rat running along the fence. London is full of rats so it's not really a surprise
