The sign is warning people not to shake the tree violently. I wonder why they want to do that. Probably some sort of 'lucky' tree that bears 'lucky' fruits and thus drawing visitors.

Thanks for That Li Hong!It looks to be some kind of palm tree.I imagine shaking a tree this thick to dislodge 'lucky' fruits wouldn't be easy.But if you could they may land on your head. :)
