Fake, streaking referee ignites brawl during college football match

A college football game in Arizona descended into mayhem when a fan dressed as a referee ran onto the field, leading to a bench-clearing brawl between the two sides.

With Arizona leading UCLA 42-7 in the Pac-12 showdown, the streaker appeared on the field at the Wildcats' Arizona Stadium dressed as a referee with just two seconds left in the second quarter.

Players began verballing each other as the man was taken away, which led to punches being thrown between Bruins receiver Taylor Embree and Arizona cornerback Shaquille Richardson, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Their exchange drew teammates in, with both teams' entire benches rushing onto the field as officials and coaches tried to separate them. Embree and Richardson were ejected from the game, with the NCAA likely to further examine the involvement of other players.
