Hunt for man swinging cat by its tail outside Ramsgate pub

Images of a man swinging a cat around in the air by its tail outside a pub in Ramsgate has been released by the RSPCA.



The animal charity wants to find the man who was caught on CCTV outside the Camden Arms pub in Ramsgate on Saturday, October 29, at around 8.30am.

RSPCA Inspector Caroline Doe said: "This was a very violent, nasty attack on a cat. Anyone who witnessed this outside the pub must have been as shocked and appalled as we were. We are hoping that someone will recognise this man and come forward so we can investigate this fully."

The terrified cat ran away following the incident. Anyone who witnessed the attack or who recognises the man in the footage is asked to contact the RSPCA in confidence.
