I grew up in a particularly virulent strain of Fundamentalist Christianity, alongside people like those who made this sign. I was raised to believe they were normal, which is obviously not the case.
However, as I've aged I have learned to love religious literalists: they're fun to watch, like monkeys in a cage that's just slightly too small for the troop. Their desperate denial of reality makes them do really funny things -- such as make this sign.
....note, I'm not the Anon. that bp commented on. I think that she meant the first Anon. comment.
I would say that the "M" should stand for Mythology. As the (Joseph Campbell) quote goes....“Myth is what we call other people’s religion, religion is misinterpreted myth."
A lot of people think that their beliefs are the only truth...but other religions think the same thing about us. But then, of course 'they' are wrong. Hello, get a clue.
Irony is lovely isn't it. So many of the posters above seem to have missed the point that the significance of this blog post is all the misspellings, not the message the write of the sign was trying to convey.
Blithery, it's easy to pick on Christians, as they are in the majority, still. You'll be daring and courageous when you make the same fun of Islam. I'm sure your house is opaque and sturdy. Merry Christmas! --a. P.S. Holy typos.

Oh! I can play this game!
"C" is for credulity, which makes religion much easier,
"H" is for history, which doesn't match the gospels at all,
"R" is for religion, the biggest plagiarism ever,
"I" is for Isis, who also had a virgin birth of a god they called the king,
"S" is for Saturnalia, the winter festival of ancient Romans,
"T" is for tannenbaum, a pagan sign of life beyond winter,
"M" is for Mithra, whose holiday this used to be,
"A" is for ancient prophecies and the lies that were told to fulfill them
"S" is for stories, which should only be for gullible children.
"blithery PooP"...... Your name says it all.
I came for the coming shepherds.
Left satisfied, like a priest at daycare.

I'm dyslexic and I spotted it.
