One person who was leaving the restaurant was struck by the vehicle, but walked away with only minor injuries. Two others also suffered slight injuries. The driver of the car is seen emerging from the vehicle as shocked staff look on and pick up tables and chairs.

Police said the driver was not hurt, and apparently mistook the accelerator pedal for the brake. It is not yet known if the driver will be charged for the incident.
