Drunken man rescued from muddy bog after tipsy walk home

A pensioner’s tipsy wander home ended in disaster after he fell into a muddy bog. The 60-year-old stumbled and became trapped in the slimy pit after drinking with friends in Chongqing, in China.

The drunken man was unable to pull himself free from the mire and a passer-by had to call for help.



Emergency services eventually dragged the man to safety after he had wallowed in the mud for nearly an hour.

The freezing man, who was covered head to toe in waste and slime, was taken to hospital where he was found to be fine.
