At 2:49 a.m. Monday, Lancaster County-Wide Communications received a call for a burglary at the Stop N Go Mini Market, 777 New Holland Ave., police said. A front glass window to the business had been broken, triggering the burglar alarm. A witness described a male leaving the store, getting into an SUV and driving away from the scene, police said. County dispatchers alerted area police departments to be on the lookout for a gray Ford Explorer. At about 3 a.m., East Lampeter Township police Officer William Sanger stopped an Explorer in the 200 block of West Main Street in Leola, police said. He said the man driving the vehicle had blood on his hand.

The driver of the SUV was identified as Kieta, police said. City police Lt. James Carpenter responded to the vehicle stop in Leola, police said. He and East Lampeter officers noticed shards of safety glass and a hammer on the back floor of the SUV, and a black backpack on the floor of its front passenger side, they said. Carpenter returned to the Stop N Go and viewed surveillance video of the burglary, police said. He recognized that the subject in the video fit the description of Kieta. The video also showed the burglar had a black backpack, police said. Kieta was arrested.
Police obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and seized evidence, including the hammer and the backpack containing the 63 packets of male enhancers, police said. "He was caught a block away from where he lives," Umstead said. "He almost made it home, and maybe we would not have gotten him if he did." Kieta was charged with one count of burglary by city police Detective George Bonilla before District Judge Janice Jimenez, police said. He was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $200,000 bail.
