Horse whisperer claims troubled stallion told her his owner was a love cheat

A horse whisperer has told how a depressed stallion broke up his owners’ marriage, by revealing that his master was having an affair. Anne Dee was called to give the horse some therapy after he started acting strangely. She says he asked her what a divorce was, before complaining about the perfume his “new mum” wore.

According to Anne, the husband had been romancing his mistress in front of the horse. And after she told the wife what the stallion had said to her, the marriage fell apart. Anne claimed: “The horse told me he was worried the owners were going to split up. He said he didn’t like his new mum as she petted him too much and wore strong perfume.

“The wife was there while I was doing the consultation and I felt I had to tell her. She said she’d suspected her husband for years and that he’d come home smelling of Dior perfume. I made a quick exit after that.” Anne said the couple have since split, with the wife taking custody of the horse. She won’t identify the couple because of “client confidentiality”.

Anne, 56, of Ayr, says she can “sense” feelings and emotions in both humans and animals. She says she started communicating with horses 17 years ago and also helps other animals with their emotional problems. Anne consults by phone with clients in Australia and America and runs therapy sessions for cats and dogs at rescue centres.

Actually, I have a friend who can do this. We were out to dinner one night and she went down the street to pet a horse hitched to a carriage, with no driver in sight. She came back and told me that the horse was upset because his owner took him back to his paddock to rest, the horse thought he was done for the day, but the owner came back and hitched him back to the carriage to work some more.

Well, after dinner my friend saw the driver there and we wandered over. During the course of chitchat the driver revealed that the horse was acting up, and she thought it was because she'd taken the horse back to his paddock to rest for the day but had to hitch him back up because her other horse had a problem with its hoof.

Needless to say, I freaked out a little about that.
