Woman charged with nipple twisting attack on taxi driver

A woman from  Longmont, Colorado, accused of grabbing and twisting a taxi driver's nipple in a drunken attack last week has been charged in Boulder County Court. Pepper Varga, 23, was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, misdemeanor third-degree assault, obstruction of an officer, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief.

Police arrested Varga on Wednesday after they were called to 225 E. Eighth Ave. on a report of a disturbance. Officers reported finding the cab driver near his car and Varga standing near a tree, where she took a swig of peppermint schnapps before approaching officers.

The driver reported that he picked her up and drove her to the area, but she didn't have the money to pay. He said she asked him to accompany her to an apartment and he started to walk with her, but she punched him in the abdomen on the way and then hit him with a can of iced tea as he turned to return to his car.

Police report the cab driver said she followed him to the car, forced the door open, got on top of him, grabbed and twisted his nipple, and bit his shoulder. He reported she got out and punched the window and kicked the door before mounting the cab and standing on the roof. The man reported he was not badly hurt, but he was in pain from the "nipple twisting," according to police.
