Man banned from any land with farm animals after admitting sex with goat

A man from Devizes has been banned from visiting any land with farm animals after admitted having sex with a goat.

Robert Steven Newman, 23, was due to stand trial for an act of sexual penetration with a living animal in Wiltshire in April this year.

He appeared at North West Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court in Chippenham on Monday, where he changed his plea to guilty.

He is due to be sentenced on September 12, after a pre-sentence report has been prepared. In the meantime he must obey a curfew between 7pm and 7am and is not allowed to enter any land where farm animals are kept.
