A pilot and passenger received minor injuries when their light aircraft flipped over while landing in a field near Dargaville, Northland, New Zealand.
Dargaville Police Sergeant Nick Wilson said the plane crash-landed at about 5pm on Monday. The pilot flew in to practise an emergency landing but stalled and flipped.
Emergency services were not informed of the accident until about an hour later. Farmer James Hutchison, who works on the farm that the plane crashed on, said he was at a nearby house and saw the plane fly over.
About 15 minutes later, people from the Dargaville Aero Club told him they had picked up the two occupants of the aircraft.
