Man received five identical cards for his 80th birthday

Brian Marchant of Heavitree, Exeter received five identical cards for his 80th birthday, each from a different friend or relative, including his wife Eileen.

He said: “I couldn’t believe it. They arrived over two days and when I opened the second one I thought it was odd and that there couldn’t be anymore but then three more the same turned up.



“It was a bit like getting five numbers up on the lottery. It certainly made my birthday special - although I don’t know why people saw this card and thought of me,” added Brian

Two of the cards came from Exeter while the others were from Clyst St Mary, Sidmouth and Gosport in Hampshire.
