A Lincolnshire pensioner has again been caught breaching an anti-social behaviour order imposed for performing a sex act on himself while pushing a toy doll in a pram. Trevor Robinson, 67, of Skellingthorpe was convicted of public indecency in Cherry Willingham in 2009 and given an ASBO, which banned him from possessing a pram, a doll and any kind of toy transportation. Robinson first breached the ASBO in June 2010.
He was again caught breaching the order by a passing motorist who spotted him in a layby with a pram and a doll on November 18 last year. Julie Barton called the police after she saw Robinson reverse his car quickly towards the pram, which she believed contained a baby.
During a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Thursday Nigel Burn in mitigation said: “He said his foot became caught under the accelerator pedal and he reversed at some considerable speed into the pram by accident.
“He accepts that he should not have had the pram or the doll in public but the pram fell out of his very small car. He says he has the pram and the doll because he was unable to have children himself. He has referred himself to his GP for counselling but I don’t think he has got very far with it. The breaching of his ASBO is down to a chapter of errors.”
Robinson has been given a curfew of 10pm to 6am every day. He was ordered to pay £85 of prosecution costs and a £60 victim surcharge. He has also been banned from owning a pram or any type of transportation used for children and using it in public. He is also banned from owning a doll or toy that resembles a child and showing it in public.
