Horses spotted roaming Canadian street may have been led astray by rogue donkey

Several horses and a donkey were spotted roaming the streets in a rural area in south Calgary early on Saturday evening.



A police helicopter picked up footage of the beasts at about 7pm It appears that five horses may have been led by a rogue donkey.

“The donkey was the group leader,” duty inspector Nancy Farmer said.



It was unclear whether the animals had escaped from a farm and were attempting to return home. By about 7:20pm, the chaotic scene had thankfully been resolved.
