Police seek man who assaulted ice cream truck driver with fudge bar

A man used a fudge ice cream bar to assault an ice cream truck driver after accusing the driver of giving his daughter incorrect change for a purchase

The assault happened in Rock Hill, South Carolina, at around 4pm on Wednesday. April Johnson told police that a girl bought ice cream for her father.

The father later confronted Johnson for not giving his daughter enough change. Johnson said she told the man she did give correct change and then he assaulted her with a fudge ice cream bar. Police said they saw a red mark on the inside of Johnson’s arm.

A witness said he saw the assault. Johnson and the witness told police the man drives a small white truck and lived close by. Officers were not able to find the man and the case remains open.
