Mystery surrounds shrine left in street featuring milk, sugar, a vintage photo and half a brick

Items placed together to form what appears to be a shrine have appeared on a pavement.

The unusual scene was spotted by Paul Yeomans in the Wollaton suburb of Nottingham.

The memorial consists of a pint of semi-skimmed milk, an opened bag of granulated sugar, half a brick and a vintage photograph of a woman, its gold frame propped against three more bricks.

Paul said he took the photo in Wollaton Road, opposite the Lidl supermarket. With no words to indicate its meaning Mr Yeomans is unsure if the collection is some kind of shrine, an artwork, or maybe just litter.
