Police officer helped hedgehog avoid tragedy on busy road

A touching rescue by a police officer from the Bradford Anti-Social Behaviour Bike team was caught on video.



The eagle-eyed officer spotted a hedgehog in the middle of busy Harrogate Road in Eccleshill, West Yorkshire, on Sunday.



The officer then stopped to assist the animal.    

As his headcam footage shows, the officer then carried the prickly little creature to a nearby grass verge.
