Excavator scoops up young deer stuck in mud

When Bill Davis from Pierce County, Washington, heard the alarm go off at a plot of land he was working on, he went out to see who could be messing with his equipment.

He was surprised, however, when he found a young deer that had become trapped in a large mound of mud. Luckily, the equipment on site allowed Bill and a colleague to mount a rescue operation. The rescue was successful and the confused deer left the site without injury.

And then they rescued a second deer.

It's amazing what someone who knows their tools can do.

One evening I watched a JCB driver use the prongs on the front bucket to pick old lead pipes from the walls of a building, then give a colleague a lift in the bucket to the top of a pile of rubble.

Reminds me of the video of a guy using some huge machine used to move logs to remove a milk can from a bear's head, really amazing work! KaraBoo in Ohio
