Police thank public for helping identify garlic butter bandit

Police in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada, have thanked the public for helping identify a man who stole a full bottle of garlic butter.

Officers say it was around 7pm on March 22nd when the garlic butter bandit entered a Little Caesars Pizza store and allegedly made off with the product.

Police said he went inside, grabbed the bottle of garlic butter worth about $25 and took off. The suspect left the area driving an older model blue Ford pick-up truck with a customized front end.

Police posted the man’s photo on social media on Thursday morning after being unable to find him for 10 days. Shortly after 1pm on Thursday, police confirmed the suspect had been identified.
