Poultry in motion

Sad.
They were all once living, feeling creatures.
But I guess humans had them locked up in cramped cages, fed them only mashed up meal made from corn and other animals waste bits, oh, and growth hormones.
My chickens roam my garden looking for bugs.
They come when I call them.
They siesta in the middle of the day, just like all the animals that live at my place.
They follow each other around all the other times - birds of a feather and all that.
They wander off back to their house in the backgarden about 30 minutes before sundown.
They wait at the back door for breakfast every morning, because they wake up before me.
I get fresh eggs everyday.

If you are going to eat chickens, do them and your health a favour, only buy the ones raised on a free range farm.Yep, they're a bit more expensive, but it's your (and their) body, you wouldn't buy rubbish chocolate just because it was cheap.

"Poultry in motion" is my favorite title ever! (And I live with 8 happy chickens, too!)

@ WilliamRocket

I hate to burst your illusion but free range is nothing but a marketing scam. A bird need only spend a small fraction of its life outside a gage to be called free range.

Rocket probably buys chicken advertised as 'No added hirmones'...another marketing ploy

They are also gluten free!
