Woman arrested after showing breast to inmate during video visit

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina arrested a Walhalla woman on Wednesday after she exposed one of her breasts during a video visitation with an inmate at the Oconee County Detention Center.

Deputies said Aimee Marie James, 29, was charged with indecent exposure and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.

On April 29, an investigator from the Criminal Investigation Division received a video from a supervisor at the Detention Center. It reportedly showed James exposing one of her breasts during a video visitation on April 27, at an inmate's request, into the video camera.

An investigation led deputies to James. A warrant was issued for her arrest on May 3. James was later released from the detention center on $5,000 personal recognizance bond. In South Carolina, the penalty for indecent exposure, which is a misdemeanor, is not more than three years in prison and/or a fine with the amount determined at the discretion of the court.

To make it more confusing, the police said she exposed her left breast, but she says she's pretty sure it was her right breast.
