A “one-woman burglary machine” scaled 8ft walls while seven months pregnant, a court was told.
Beverley Traynor, 33 — expecting her fifth child — forced open patio doors at one house. At another she crawled in through a kitchen window.
Prosecutor Julie Reilly said: “She has complete disregard for her safety, or that of her unborn child.” Traynor’s haul from her hometown of Blackpool included jewellery, iPods and cash.
The mum — addicted to the drug speed — admitted two raids and asked for eight to be considered. She received a 12-month suspended jail term.
Judge Julian Bentham QC told her at Preston Crown Court: “Your life is a mess. It is pathetic.”
Her four kids, aged 13, 12, ten and two, are in care. After being told her fifth is due in two weeks, the judge sighed and said: “Happy days.”
