Erotic book included in giveaway bags for children at Baby Show

Parents are upset an erotic novel containing sexually explicit scenes was included in a show bag given to children at a baby show on the Gold Coast in Australia. The book, Tall Poppies, wastes no time getting down and dirty with page two containing explicit descriptions of a man masturbating.

Mum Melissa Briggs said she was shocked when she discovered the steamy sex scenes inside the paperback by Louise Bagshawe that was inside the bundle of goodies handed out at the Runaway Bay Shopping Village Baby Show at the weekend.



"I just don't know what to say," she said. "You would expect to get a book like this at Sexpo, not at the Runaway Bay Baby Show."

Show organiser Judy Taylor said she removed the books from the show bags after receiving a complaint.
