Village hall cooker to be cleaned more often

Councillors in Hertfordshire have agreed a village hall cooker should be cleaned more often.

A gas engineer suggested the gas hob should be cleaned regularly rather than a full annual service undertaken.



Councillors on Woolmer Green Parish Council agreed the cleaner should clean the cooker regularly.

They will discuss it with him at a meeting with staff.

To be honest, that's more useful and less crack-addled than anything Oxford City Council have come up with. To quote my dad: "If they had brains, the'd be dangerous".
